HOW IT STARTED

After a stint in several acting classes, it was at the UofA where I realized I needed to tell stories. I realized the power of motion pictures after a movie I watched my senior year. It was one of the most illuminating experiences of my life. This single experience has transformed the way I think about media and stories for the rest of my life.

After spending several years in and out of production working as a location manager for Paramount Pictures I got an opportunity to work with Time Warner’s new Latino network NuVO TV. I was a producer for the Latino Laugh Festival and managed all of the comics. I worked with Felipe Esparza, Fluffy, aka Gabriel Iglesias and many more. I met writer Rick Najera and after the show he offered me a producing position at LATV which was going to be the very first bilingual network to go National. During this time, I worked with top celebrities like B Real from Cypress Hill, Kat Von D, Mr. Cartoon and Estevan Oriol, interviewing them for weekly shows.

Shortly after, realizing technology was changing and equipment was becoming more affordable, I launched my own multimedia company focusing my efforts solely on online video.

In 2008 EG entertainment was launched. Since its inception EG entertainment has worked with some of the worlds top brands providing the most electrifying and engaging video campaigns.

Our videos have reached over 1 billion people worldwide. We were the very first company to help L’Oreal Paris work with YouTuber Kandee Johnson. We’ve been using influencers before influencer was even a word.

I created the very first Latino themed mobile game application “La Chancla” that created major headlines and had more installs than any other latino game in history.

My mission in life is to change the Mexican American narrative and help people across the globe get a better understanding of the Latino American experience here in the United States.

People consider me a creator, technologist and futurist which has led me to my next big project, The Real World Metaverse that I am now building with private angel investors who are big players in the crypto and NFT world. Stay tuned.
